I am excited to announce that I am partnering with photographer Angelina Luciana so I can get back to doing what I love to do!
After I was forced into early retirement due to spine disease in late 2014, I thought I could never return to being a portrait photographer again. It’s been a long road but after 8 surgeries since then and a long road of recovery. I’ve been feeling good. Strong. So, after a lot of real talk with myself about my limitations living with chronic pain, I have found a way to get back on the road by bringing in a partner.
I mentored Angelina and have delighted in watching her work grow as an artist. Our work jives well together and I love her as a person so I know the energy and quality of work we can both bring to our clients will amplify what I was able to do on my own. I know you will just love her!
Being conscious of what my body can and cannot handle, we have painstakingly created a new business model that now only allows 8 clients in one day as opposed to the 15-18 a day I used to shoot! Sessions are now 2 ½ hours as opposed to 90 minutes and will much more relaxed for everyone. Please refer to the FAQ page for more info and links to more detailed info.
Now, let’s talk availability:
In my hometown of Portland Oregon, I have limited my availability to one Saturday a month, and I will accept 2 clients in one day.
I will offer occasional Pop Up Events in Portland with my partner Angelina. These are events we decide to do with less than a month’s notice. That said, because of the short notice, we offer clients a 25% discount for Pop Up Events. We will only book up to 8 clients and only offer one day.
Our first Pop Up Event is on Saturday December 7, 2019 (guaranteed product by Christmas) and can be accessed through the booking page.
In 2020, Angelina and I will be traveling to Arizona, Hawaii and 2 locations in California. You can access those dates and locations on the booking page.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be back, bringing you something new and cannot wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones!
A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you who chose to stay here and keep following me, even when I thought I was done. Thank you for having faith in me even when I didn’t!
To quote the incredible Lizzo, “Fresh photos with the bomb lighting.” Yeah. It’s like that.
